Cocktail Masterclass

Course Overview
Cocktails usually convey images of glamour, entertainment and luxuriousness. Through our Cocktail masterclass we aim to provide individuals with the basics in order to master the art of Cocktail making. In the course individuals will improve their knowledge by gaining a firm understanding of different types of cocktails and techniques. This will help the individual develop their own style and gain confidence, stepping closer to being a great Cocktail bar tender.
Course Content
- Introduction and “the tools of the trade”
- Bar etiquette and good practices
- Understanding the terms used
- Mastering the classics
- Cocktail adaption (mixology basics)
- Product knowledge on ingredients used
Course structure and duration
The half-day course includes theory and practical assessment with the tutor. Hours are from 12.00 to 18.00hrs including breaks, it also allows for candidates to stay longer to practise. Classes will have a maximum of 16 students at a time.
Assessment
There are no exams for this course. It will however be assessed throughout the day by grading each candidates practical abilities, which will enable to help the candidate see what he or she has achieved so far. An Off to Work certificate will be provided, with course details as we recognise and are committed to the National Skills Pledge.
What is included in the cost?
All course material and refreshments. Cost per person is £100 including VAT.
