Event Bar Training

Course Overview
In an event the bar can make or break the guest’s experience. Our Event Bar training has been created to take away it’s dangers as it is a fun practical course which will provide essential skills and knowledge on how to set up and operate a provisional event bar. It is not only aimed at enthusiasts wishing to get a footing in events but for those who already have a venue bar background who wish to learn more about how to run temporary activities.

- Building a functional and aesthetically pleasing bar
- Boxing tables and glassware layouts
- Getting the most out of your briefing

Course structure and duration
The one-day course includes theory and practical assessment with the tutor. Hours are from 09.00 to 16.00hrs including breaks and 45 minutes for lunch, it also allows for candidates to stay longer to practise. Classes will have a maximum of 20 students at a time.
Assessment
There are no exams for this course. It will however be assessed throughout the day by grading each candidates practical abilities, which will enable to help the candidate see what he or she has achieved so far. An Off to Work certificate will be provided, with course details as we recognise and are committed to the National Skills Pledge.
What is included in the cost
All course material and refreshments. Cost per person is £120 inc VAT.
